Golden sword will be run with the traditional rules. To whit: All comers may participate in the golden sword tournament. The winner is selected by a consensus of the senior fighters present. Only those fighters who have been authorized for less than one year and have not fought in the most recent Pennsic war are eligible to win the title of ‘Golden Sword'.
